People today are fearful of many things, there is a fear of the elements in space.
There's fear that astroids will collide with earth, thus bringing an end to earth.
There's fear of tornadoes, fear of earthquakes, fear of hurricanes, of floods,
of plagues, even of each other. There is a generalized fear of dying in most people.
Some may say with all these that have been mentioned here, there is reason to fear.
Others may say, what's the use in fearing, because you cannot control the elements,
what's to be is what's to be.
The preplexing reasoning in all of this fear is that much of this kind of fear, comes
not just from unbelievers of God, but of Believers.
Many Believers share in the 'Fears' of the world.
Upon further analysis, we find that there are two major kinds of wisdom working here.
There is the 'wisdom of the world, with their thoughts, facts, analysis, and presuppositions...then
There is the 'Wisdom' that comes from God.
The world's wisdom, very well may be air tight and fact based, depending on
the object of proof. Within it's realm or domain, it's element of truth holds to a limited realm. Reasoning being that there's always more to explore, more to learn, more to materialize as theory. before potentially becoming a fact and it's actualization.
The amazing thing about this is, at any given time factualization will still hold a limitation to it's realm of factualization. It only relinquishes or give up it's position when new proof suddenly propels it into another category. This spectrum of thought seems to be true across all categories.
So, what do we say about the Wisdom of God?
First, the Wisdom of God is limitless, it is Eternal as God is Eternal.
The Wisdom of God is without end. God Himself is the Creator of All Things.
He alone created Wisdom. Proverbs 8:22,23 speaks of wisdom in this context.
Proverbs 8:22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
Proverbs 8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
In Proverbs 9:10 and Psalms 111:10 we see the wisdom of the Lord
Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.
Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.
What do we see so clearly in these two scriptures?
1. Fear of the Lord
2. The beginning of wisdom
3. knowledge of the holy is understanding.
4. a good understanding have all they that do His commandments
5. His praise endureth forever
All of the five here, brings about just the 'BEGINNING' of wisdom.
I ask the question, do Christians have to return to their first love?
There use to be a Godly Fear in Christians. Today, you rarely hear the words,
"I Fear God". less and less do we see actions that even express "fear of God".
Why do I say this? I say this because as an Evangelist, there are many people
repenting for 'wrong' actions(which are good, don't get be wrong here)
but, there is less and less of a mindset of "I Fear God, I Will Not Commit This Sin".
Fear of God, seemly is put on the 'back burner' with the FIRE out!
So then, where lies the wisdom within?
Again, the Word Of God Says:
Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.
Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.
For those who are Seeking Wisdom, Knowledge and Understand of the Lord,
let's begin with the Fear Of The Lord!
